MC Day 2

Leg Cramps

6am: I woke up with lower leg cramps. According to some websites, this happens when you are not drinking enough juice and/or water or your body is just beginning to detox. Tolerable.

8am: I decided to try the Smooth Move Peppermint tea instead of the SWF. Had a glass of water to wash down the tea and keep things moving but nothing happened. Had a few glasses of juice, water, and nothing. No rumbles, cramps or BM. :(

11am: Had a Numi's Savory tea - spinach and chive one. Quite tasty! They do contain decaf tea. Might be a wrong choice for this cleanse but, eh, was my choice.

3:30PM: Eliminated, at last!  Well, the box wasn't wrong. 6-8 hours did it! For me was about 7 hours, with mild cramps beginning in 6. Just one round. :-/

Had the Yogi Get Regular tea at night. And that's it.

Overall, today I had no fatigue. Didn't even needed a nap. Did drank 8 glasses of lemonade and wasn't shy with the maple syrup. Had water here and there. Felt great in general. Just my legs cramping. Was OK. :)

MC Day 1

SALT WATER FLUSH IS NOT THAT BAD!

6am: I purposely woke up late. I was scared to death of the SWF. After reading horrible stories about the SWF, I decided to do this process few minutes before most left for work. I just did not wanted to have an uncontrollable accident of any sort.

8am: Finally had the SWF and honestly... IT'S NOT THAT BAD! It obviously taste salty like broth but really, is that really horrible? Have you ever sat down and ate a whole bag of salty chips? or seaweed? sushi with tons of soy sauce?

I did not wanted to drink everything in one sitting so I drank about 8oz first. Waited to see if I wanted to regurgitate like people said. Nista. So I drank another 8oz. Felt fine. Actually I burped so I knew I was digesting it well. Few minutes later, I drank another 8oz. Around this time I began to feel full, but no nausea just a slight burning sensation but tolerable.

9:30am: First elimination. No severe cramps. Two more elimination rounds 30-40 minutes apart afterwards. And that's it folks!

10AM: My first lemonade baby! The sun was shining. Had just eliminated. Felt content and off sip I went!

12PM: Brain fog. I believe its normal for the first day of no food.

Overall felt fine. Guts felt fine too. Just a bit foggy, hungry and a bit anxious. Normal stuff for the first day.

TIP: Zest, freeze and save your lemons for later recipes! ;)

Orange Juice Day

 Happy Oranges. Happy G.

5am: This morning I opened my eyes ready to either go crazy on the peanut butter jar. But I kept sane and brewed Guayusa Chai. A bit of caffeine won't hurt pigeons.

8am: After a while, I felt a bit of an upset stomach since I had nothing in it. Had some water to calm the acids down. Felt better once I drank my first cup of orange juice. Alternated the O.J with water, herbal teas and ACVC water.

6pm: All 8 cups of o.j were taken. Didn't felt tired or dizzy. Quite energized. Bit hungry at night. Had a single elimination round at noon and that's it. Bit anxious for the upcoming days. Light day.

Ease In Day 3

  Food Crime

5am: Yesterday I fell asleep to the Oscars. God knows who won what. Anyway, began my morning with Guayusa Mint. My way of easing my severe caffeine intake. I shouldn't be eating solids but I couldn't resist a raw granola bar in the fridge. I'm guilty as charged already, I know. Surprisingly, I eliminated as well. Yesterday's raw diet got to me.

6am: I poured myself a generous serving of Bolthouse Farms Green Goodness juice. I KNOW It's NOT fresh green juice, but it's the closest "green drink" I can get. Pretty tasty!

8am: Felt pretty good throughout my morning. Energized. Had a huge glass of ACVC (apple cider vinegar cayenne) water with maple this time. Prepared lunch. I did ate two kumquats during the process, sorry. but I couldn't resist.

12pm: Did some legs. Refreshed myself with Bolthouse Farms carrot juice. More elimination rounds. Hungrier.

Is it a crime, Sade?
My hunger got to me. Had Spirutein protein mixed with water under the excuse of A) being in a liquid form and B) prepared with water. Bad idea. Felt tired, nauseous and bloated. Water chased the queasiness away a bit.

5pm: Felt better. Had the remainder of my Green Goodness juice followed by my Yogi Honey Stress tea. Still a bit bloated but tolerable. I also became less nervous about passing out during the cleanse. Now just anxious about not being able to control my hunger. That's all.

Ease in Day 2

 Onions

5AM: Slept like a stone. Had two slices of Ezekiel bread with coffee plus raw sugar. No milk.

7AM: Washed everything down with ACVC (apple cider vinegar cayenne). Feeling well so far.

9AM: Finally I was able to enjoy my huge beautiful salad. Really delicious! I normally don't eat raw onions but these ones were sweet and I felt horrible throwing them away. Yup, onion breath alert! Super satisfied.

1PM: Still felt satisfied so had some sliced kiwis plus a pear for lunch.

4:00PM: Throughout the day I felt great. No fatigue. Less anxiety. Energized. Much happier. Made sure I hydrated myself to keep the consumed fiber moist in there. :)

6:00PM: Ended my day with another Yogi Stress Honey tea, a raw granola bar and a green apple and off to watch the pre-Oscars I went.

Ease in Day 1.

 Dizzy

6AM: Started my day with slushy Supa Dupa Greens from Juice Generation and about a cup of soaked Brazil nuts. I had two Marley Coffee K Cups left and wanted to finish them before the cleanse so I brewed one for today and the other one for tomorrow. Cleaned up my Keurig and into hibernation mode it went till Autumn. In the Spring/Summer, I rely on guayusa and yerba mate tea for energy. Ginseng too.

9:00AM: Munched on two slices of Ezekiel bread plus ACVC (apple cider vinegar cayenne). My belly was happy and satisfied and my bowels moving nicely. :)

12:00PM: By this time, I wasn't too hungry. Had a mixed salad in the fridge but I was sure I wasn't going to be able to finish it. So I skipped. Became a bit anxious so I toned legs to ZZ Top baby! Released most of my tension.

2:00PM: Hunger slightly returned. Gave in to pomegranate seeds, pear and an apple.

4:00PM: Took a long shower and enjoyed a cup of Yogi's Honey Stress tea. Mediated a bit. Anxiety returned in the early evening. Took a nap to ease.

Well, I ended sleeping till the next day. Woke up in the middle of the evening with a small anxiety attack. My fear of not eating at all for 10 days got to me. I finally calmed down when I mentally surrender to all this. Deep inside me, I know I'll be fine and alive. It's just my mind messing with me. Hm, mind tricks won't work with me even if I am the creator, well, at least with this case.
